How to renew a book

Renew a Book

Want the book longer? You can stop by the library anytime we're open to renew items, but if you want to try it yourself, here's how:

  • login to the catalog

  • open your "My Info" tab

  • find the books you have checked out in "Items Out"

  • renew those items you'd like to have a bit longer

This feature allows you to add 3 more weeks from the day you renew your books. Be sure to write the new due date in the back on the date due slip!

How to put a book on hold

Put a Book on Hold

Want a book that's checked out by someone else? We're happy to put books on hold for you, but if you want to try it yourself, here's how:

  • login to the catalog

  • search for the book

  • select the title

  • select "Hold It!" in the right-hand margin

  • be sure to check your Mid-Pacific email, as the librarians will notify you when the book is ready!

How to send a request

Wish List

Want a book that we don't own? Wish List allows you to suggest a book to add to our library. Thank you for helping us perfect our collection!

  • login to the catalog

  • search for a book

  • if we don't own it, select the blue "Add to Wish List" link in the right-hand margin

  • fill in the Title, and if you have time, let us know why we need the book.

  • Select "Save"

Your librarians will receive a notification, and will add it to the library collection soon.
